Family Safari Adventure
Designed from the ground up for families traveling together, this trip favors shorter drives, kid-friendly camps with connecting family tents, and hands-on activities that keep children of all ages interested, not just adults.
Kids join junior ranger sessions and learn to read animal tracks with a guide, turning each day into hands-on learning instead of just watching from the vehicle. Every stop, drive length, and activity is planned around what works for families, so parents can relax and everyone, from toddlers to teenagers, has a good time.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
A flexible outline — every itinerary is tailored around your dates and interests.
Arrival in Nairobi & Orientation Drive
Arrive in Nairobi and ease into safari life with a gentle orientation game drive in Nairobi National Park, right on the edge of the city — an early chance to spot lion, giraffe, and rhino close to home before an early night ahead of the journey to the Mara.
Transfer to the Masai Mara
Fly into the Masai Mara and settle into a family-friendly camp with connecting tents, so parents and children can stay close together. After lunch, an easy-paced afternoon game drive starts the wildlife spotting without a long day in the vehicle.
Family-Paced Game Drive & Junior Ranger Lesson
Enjoy a relaxed morning game drive, followed by a hands-on junior ranger session where children learn to identify animal tracks with a guide — a fun way for kids to feel like real explorers, not just passengers.
Field Note
Pack a favorite stuffed animal or toy for the vehicle. Long drives are easier for younger children with a familiar comfort item close by.
Maasai Cultural Encounter
Visit a nearby Maasai village together as a family, with an interactive session that lets children join in traditional songs and dances alongside local kids — a warm introduction to Maasai culture that both parents and children remember long after the trip.
Second Family Game Drive & Bush Picnic
Enjoy another easy-paced game drive followed by a family bush picnic set up in a scenic spot, giving everyone a chance to stretch their legs and eat outdoors away from camp.
Transfer to Nairobi
Fly back to Nairobi with a free afternoon for souvenir shopping or a relaxed evening by the hotel pool — an easy way to wind down before the trip ends.
Departure
Enjoy a final relaxed family breakfast before transferring to the airport for your international departure.
