These terms govern your use of the Alvin In Africa website and the booking of any safari package, custom itinerary, or service arranged through it. By submitting an inquiry or confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms below.
Bookings & Itineraries
All itineraries shared via this website are indicative. A booking is only confirmed once we have agreed final trip details with you directly and received any required deposit. Prices quoted are per person unless stated otherwise and may vary with group size, season, and accommodation selected.
Payments
A deposit is typically required to secure park, lodge, and vehicle availability, with the balance due ahead of travel. Specific payment terms and accepted methods will be confirmed with you in writing at the time of booking.
Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation terms depend on how far in advance you cancel relative to your travel dates, since lodges, conservancies, and charter operators apply their own cancellation policies to bookings made on your behalf. We will always share the applicable cancellation terms with you before you pay a deposit.
Travel Risk & Liability
Safari travel involves inherent risks associated with wildlife, remote locations, light aircraft, and road conditions. We take safety seriously and work with vetted operators and guides, but travel is undertaken at your own risk. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings for every traveler.
Travel Documents & Health
You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport, any required visas, and any vaccinations or health documentation required for travel to Kenya and neighboring countries. We are happy to advise but cannot guarantee entry requirements, which may change.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking will apply to your trip.
