A full day dedicated to the reserve's northern endemics: Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich, species found almost nowhere else in Kenya.
Field Note
Gerenuk are most active in the cool early morning — they browse standing on their hind legs, a behavior worth being out early for.
Buffalo Springs Crossing
